In addition, if you make a purchase from our shop we need to collect your information so we can despatch your goods and manage your order efficiently.

What information does WhatToWearOnVacation.com collect and how is it used?

Shop Purchases

If you make a purchase from our online Shop you will be given a guest account, after which you can optionally become a full Member (see above). We will need to obtain a:

  • Delivery name (first and last name) – used to deliver your goods
  • Email address – used to contact you in relation to your order
  • Full delivery address – used to deliver your goods
  • Contact telephone number – may be used by us should there be a problem with your order; sometimes made available to the delivery company to assist with delivering your order

Data is transferred over a secure connection, and your order details will be stored in our secure database unless you ask for them to be removed. We also retain hard copies of your invoice/delivery note for accounting purposes. If you choose to become a full member, your order history and delivery address(es) will be linked to your account for your convenience.

Some products available in our shop are despatched directly by third-party supply partners. When this is the case, your delivery name, address and telephone number will be shared with these partners, who will process and despatch your goods.

Supply partners may retain copies of your invoice/delivery note for accounting purposes. They will not have any direct contact with you other than to despatch your goods. They will not see your email address.

Use of your email address

If you make a purchase from our shop, we will email you to confirm your order and again to confirm when the goods have been despatched. We may also contact you if there is any problem or query with your order.

By optin into our mailing list, your name and email address will be stored with our mailing list provider, and you will also be asked to confirm that you really DO wish to join the mailing list. Our mailing partner is fully compliant with all regulation governing use and storage of personal data.

Our mailing list providers gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our emails and offers.

If you no longer want to receive any emails from us, you can click the ‘unsubscribe' link included in every mailing list email.

We don't rent or trade our mailing lists with other businesses.

We display advertisements on our websites, as the revenue gained allows us to provide our large range of Packing List files for free.
